Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

This is the first book of the Happily Ever After Quartet.

Jan Nichols, a highly ambitious, straight forward woman is a newly married bride of Rob Nichols. She always got what she wanted from her childhood. But after her marriage, Rob wants to make a budget plan to keep their future secure and wants her to spend accordingly and take all financial decisions together.

This did not go well with Jan but reluctantly she agrees to it. But she couldn't keep it for very long and with help of her friends decides to do a moonlighting job to make a few extra bucks, but making sure her husband doesn't get to know about it. It's interesting to see if she succeeds in her little venture and what she learns in this process.

Will Rob find out about her Moonlighting job?

What happens if he finds out?

The story is very beautifully penned down and the characters are described very well. The story shows money is not everything and how important is the family. It shows how difficult life could get if you start hiding something from your spouse or family and the after-effects of it and how important is respect for each other in a relationship.

I liked the story and can't wait to read the next book in this series.
