Book Review #206: Why I Quit Google To Sell Samosas by Munaf Kapadia

Author: Munaf Kapadia

Genre: Memoir/ Autobiography

Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5

This is a memoir of an MBA graduate Munaf Kapadia where we get to read how he had made a decision to quit his most profitable job and career as a consultant in Google to become an entrepreneur and strived hard to make it successful.

Munaf's decision of leaving the high paying job to start a business with his mom is a very courageous move and at the same time a very well planned out strategy. He gives the readers an insight into the early stages of 'The Bohri Kitchen', and along with that he also provides many motivational and informational tips for budding entrepreneurs.

The book gives an insight into the Bohri tradition which many of us are unaware of like details about cuisine, culture and tradition. He shares his ups and downs with his TBK, the obstacles he faced on his journey and many useful suggestions to make your dreams come true.

I loved the way the author has shared his experience with transparency and utmost honesty. As the author himself said, this book indeed will inspire us as well as makes us laugh with him and after reading the book we are sure to think about our dreams and ways to make them successful or at least think about venturing into entrepreneurship. It motivates us to take a step forward towards achieving our dreams. This book is a must-read for all budding entrepreneurs.

Thank you HarperCollins India and author Munaf Kapadia for the review copy in exchange for my honest review.
