Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
This book gives us details about the basic stages of the plant cycle and focuses on the effects of external stress on the growth of plants. The author also explains how the plants react to the external factors like light, heat, drought, pollution etc and the adaptation mechanisms.
The book has total 17 chapters where each chapter starts with a great quote. The tables, charts, illustrations used along with the explanations makes it easier for the readers to understand it better.

This book is a well researched and very well narrated treasury of scientific proficiency that not only helps those studying in the science courses, research scholars but also helpful for those interested to know more about the plants and their behaviour. If you love reading about plants then this book is worth giving a try.
