Ratings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
The story is about an IAS aspirant Alok Shirke who moves to Old Rajinder Nagar, Delhi which is for his preparations. It focuses on his journey thought out his preparation, struggles and hard work of an aspirant, the life in Delhi.
During his time in Delhi, he falls in love with a girl named Sakshi on the first day of his coaching class but is heartbroken to see her with Ankit, another aspirant. Nevertheless, he accepted the fact and moved on and later falls in love with Sarah and his relationship is like any other filled with his and downs. He made many best friends in this time who have taught him so many valuable life lessons which changed him for good.

The story gives a lot of information on the journey of UPSC preparation, taken from the personal experience of the author himself which can be used to the benefit by any IAS aspirants. It shows the determination of the aspirants that even after facing the failures, again and again, they are never demotivated and always strive to clear the exam. I liked the way the author has given importance to every character and their background story.
The story also shows us the pressure the kids of bureaucrats succumb to fulfil their parent's dreams. The mystery of Alok's friends adds a much-required twist and curiousness to the story. The end will leave you in shock.
The narration of the story is very decent and the language is simple and lucid. And the poems in the story are worth mentioning. Overall it was a great read and I recommend it to everyone.
